This paper posits that Tetris , Alexey Pajitnov’s 1984 classic, serves not merely as entertainment but as a foundational training ground for these very competencies. By analyzing the cognitive load, pattern recognition, and executive function required to master Tetris, we argue that a structured program—termed Tetris Computermeester —can effectively benchmark and enhance core computational thinking skills.
