Stk412530 Datasheet Jun 2026
As of 2025, Sanyo (now ON Semiconductor) has discontinued these hybrids for nearly two decades. The datasheet is easy to find (search for the PDF), but the chip is not. Most "STK412-530" units sold online are counterfeit Chinese clones. A genuine datasheet describes a chip with a specific beige ceramic substrate; counterfeits are often black epoxy with lower current handling.
The STK412530 comes in a 16-pin SIP (Single Inline Package) with a staggered lead pitch. Below is the pin assignment as listed in the datasheet:

It requires a split supply with low voltage (±26V) and high voltage (±52V) for Class H operation. The supply should deliver at least 5-10A per channel.
The STK412‑530 is often described as a “two‑channel shift power supply audio power amplifier IC” that can deliver substantial power per channel. According to multiple sources, it is capable of (or approximately 90–100 W into an 8‑ohm load). The device’s advanced internal circuitry continuously monitors the input audio signal and dynamically switches the supply voltage delivered to the power output stage, significantly improving efficiency compared to conventional Class AB designs. This feature not only reduces heat generation but also enables the IC to operate reliably under high‑power conditions without bulky heatsinks. As of 2025, Sanyo (now ON Semiconductor) has
The absolute maximum rating is 150 W per channel, but this depends on the load impedance and supply voltage. In typical hi‑fi applications with an 8‑ohm speaker and a ±36 V supply, you can expect approximately 90 W to 110 W of clean, continuous power per channel.
