Shockingly, the scene was shot with real fire, no VFX, and at a location—Mukesh Mills in Mumbai—that had itself been ravaged by a fire. The shoot was so intense that action director Sham Kaushal revealed he was overwhelmed with fear, often stepping aside to pray and worry for the safety of the 100 people on set.
