Enter the IP address of your Quest (you can find it in the playback options inside Magic Keys).

Press Start (if you need MIDI connection, make sure your MIDI device is connected before).

If your MIDI connection works, the MIDI button should light up when you play a note (this is not required for custom uploads).

Choose a music score file from your disk. Press Upload Piece.

As soon as the output log says Upload Complete, the piece should be visible in your Magic Keys app.

To understand BIN files, you first need to understand how amiibo figures work. Inside the base of every official physical amiibo is a small . This chip contains a unique cryptographic key and a small amount of rewritable storage. When you tap an amiibo to your Nintendo Switch, the console reads the data from this chip to unlock in-game bonuses.

Every physical Amiibo figure contains a small Near Field Communication (NFC) chip. This chip stores a unique string of data, typically compiled into a .bin (binary) file format.

Recent versions of Ryujinx (1.2.80 and above) also include the ability to read and write amiibo bin files directly, offering the best of both approaches.
