Once you have a valid firmware file (either .img or OTA .zip ), here is the installation process.

When in doubt, stick with the OTA updater in your device settings. If no update is available, your current firmware may already be the final release for that hardware revision. In many cases, the best “update” is optimizing your existing setup:
