BNA uses a client-server model. For production use, you should install the server component on a dedicated physical or virtual machine. The client can then be installed on other workstations to connect to the central server.

The final versions of BNA were certified for older server OS environments (e.g., Windows Server 2016/2019 or RHEL 7). Attempting to run the BNA server on Windows Server 2022 or RHEL 8/9 may result in failed services or database corruption.
Older BNA versions rely on FlexNet licensing servers. Cracks often disable security features or contain remote access trojans (RATs). More importantly, managing a production SAN with cracked software is a compliance and security disaster.
